A livelier day than usual!

2.IX.07 - MoM

This may be short as I am getting a late start tonight. I got an early but slow start this morning -- getting up at 5 a.m. Sandy and Charlie were coming by about 7 -- Sandy going on to her day of evaluating teachers and Charlie to work. I had fussed with the computer cords caught in the arms of the recliner, perhaps keeping it from lying back all the way, before they got here. As tangled as it was, I was sure that cutting one of them was going to be necessary and that was the final outcome. The cords were from my old camera to connect the camera to transfer pictures from the camera to the computer. It tilts back some better but not full tilt yet. It will do well enough for the couple of nights I will use it again while Chris and Kay are here.

While they were here, they helped get my trash and garbage to the curb. I don't generate a lot of garbage and every other week is about right to dump it in winter, when it is in the cold garage area.

As usual, my breakfast, and especially reading the paper and a couple of timed 20-mini naps, took me up to noon. Boost took care of my lunchtime.

Lately, I seem to do my "work" in the afternoon. Decided to tackle my private Mt. Washmore, that made two good sized loads with a delicate left over for tomorrow. It was good to get it done so I can start to put some stuff in the suitcase. It is always hard for me to accomplish much when I have "company" in the house.

I was pleasantly surprised when my JW friend came by the first time before I did the 2nd break. I was also surprised that she came alone and was ready to sit down and catch up with our activities of the past few months. Usually they bring in another woman with in with them and stay about 15 minutes. She was alone and stayed for an hour. Her "message" only lasted a few 5 minutes as we had so much catching up.

It is torture to try to stay awake -- so to be continued tomorrow.
